JINX is INX-ZA’s Johannesburg Internet Exchange Point. It has operated since 1996 and provides a neutral place for networks to exchange local Internet traffic.

Peering
JINX supports both bilateral BGP peering and route-server peering.
Networks connected to JINX can establish peering sessions with other participants on the exchange, allowing traffic between participating networks to remain on the local exchange fabric where appropriate.
